Setting Up Navigation Buttons in Multi-Page Custom Forms

This guide explains how to properly configure navigation buttons in your custom forms to ensure smooth transitions between pages.

Initial Form Structure

When you create a new custom form, it comes with two default pages:

  • Page 1: The main form with a submit button
  • Page 2: A thank-you/confirmation page

Additional pages automatically include previous and next navigation buttons.

Important Notes

  • Complete your form structure and name all pages before configuring buttons
  • Double-check all button redirections after making changes to page order
  • While custom button fields can be added manually, this is recommended only for advanced users as it requires additional configuration

Standard Button Configuration

Follow these steps to set up navigation buttons correctly:

First Page Setup

    • Click on the button field in the form preview window.

    • Change "Button Type" from save to redirect

    • Select correct page in "Redirect To" dropdown

Middle Pages

  • Select the previous/next button field to edit

  • Ensure redirect to next page using the same process as with the first page.

  • Verify that the Previous button redirects to the correct page

Final Form Page (Before Thank You)

  • Select the previous/next button field to edit

    • Change "Next" to "Submit"

    • Set "Button Type" to "Save"

Note: For advanced users, custom button fields can be added manually, but this requires additional configuration and is more complex.
